Help with Matrix Orbital GLK12232

I have a Matrix orbital GLK12232 graphic LCD display and I have got it working fine with static text using 4x20 mode and a certain font. However whenever I try to make screens that scroll or use animated text (like the winamp plugins) I just get lots of junk on the screen and random characters where they shouldn't be.

To clear it up I have to load up the Matrix Orbital app and clear the screen before I can test again also. Is there a way to clear a screen in Smartie?

I'm just wondering if anyone has some tips for using a graphic LCD in Smartie or any tips for the GLK12232 in particular.

Is this a graphical display?

I guess that something is going wrong with the custom characters...

Yea it is a graphic LCD. It probably is something wrong with the custom character sizing I guess. The font that doesn't work I can actuall fit 5 rows so that may be a problem.

Try to ask M O about it, (about the custom characters I mean).
If is there any compatibility of a special configuration about them.
