LCD Smartie

hi, my lcdsmartie crashes after resuming the activity of the PC after standby
use windows xp and ddl matrix
I use a 4 x40 usb lcd
if I turn off and restart the smarie lcd program 5.4 the program works
how can you solve? thank you so much

What do you mean by crashes? and what display driver are you using.

I seem to remember an issue with standby on some of the display drivers.

if not have a search on this forum. There was a replacement dll for the matrix.dll to address this issue.

There's a known bug in the matrix dll with the resume code but I didn't think it crashed it. You could try the dll replacement: Try LCDT.dll which can be found at viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3279&p=19417&hilit= ... 74f#p19417 ...

I think this happen with other dll too?

I'm using lcd2usb dll and when windows 10 turn off screen, lcdsmartie crash. Just freeze what is showing on lcd screen and lcdsmartie disappear from system tray. It doesnt show any crash dialog.

Sorry to mislead. The replacement is not to replace lcd2usb it’s to change the display driver inside lcdsmartie using the setup screen.

Btw are you using the latest version of lcdsmartie?

Hi, just downloaded the file and copy to /displays folder, but it's the same. LCDsmartie crash when windows10 send the signal to turn off screen/audio. It doesnt go to sleep, if you move the mouse, you are back where you were. But it's enough to kill lcdsmartie.
