Newbie with GPO problem

Post by Zuke »

Hi all, I better start off:

Matrix Orbital MX220 USB
2 fans that cool my rads are hooked into the hi-voltage (12v) outputs. As soon as LCDSmartie starts up, the fans turn off. I know this is probably from a GPO=0 or something like that, but everything I've tired does not turn them on.
I've tried the search and I honestly can't understand anything anyone is saying.
Please help, and be gentle. :(

Welcome to our community....

First things first:
12v is not high voltage :smt018

I don't know if you able to use a volt meter but if you can it will help you understand the GPO's status.

The GPO's are commanded by the actions (under the second tab of the program interface). Please check if your LCD Smartie configuration is containing any line comanting your GPO's.
e.g. if $Computername = limbo's pc then GPO(4,1)

If you have any command like this delete it by checking it and use the delete button.

If the GPO's changing the state on Smartie startup due the driver.
In this case you have to set a line to change the state using a well know condition of your system...
